The activities of "Vodovod Čačak" include: water collection, purification, and distribution of drinking water to households and industries. The company operates in the territory of the municipality of Čačak. The implementation of IS was aimed at systematizing and optimizing business processes, simplifying work with consumers, and increasing the transparency of information within the company, thereby reducing errors and enabling the improvement of the company's comprehensive management.
The multidisciplinary team of ASW, in cooperation with the teams of PUC "Vodovod Čačak", successfully implemented the project. In the initial phase of the project, special attention was paid to the analysis of all business processes and documents used in the company. After a series of interviews, recording of the situation, and adoption of the project specification, the development of the software solution was started. For the purposes of implementation, existing ASW products were used. asw:dominus was used to manage all business processes and resources, and asw:utilitas was used to charge for the utility services performed, as well as asw:portal used by end users and asw:core for unified common functions. Before commissioning, a complete migration of the existing data into the new information system was carried out. In order to transfer the entire business of the client to the ASW platform, an archive of data from the client's previous business years was created. This was accompanied by the customization of the business reporting system. The system was launched in April 2021. A special feature of this project is the adaptable and committed realization in the conditions of Covid 19, i.e. the maintenance of the quality of the realization of the project in the changed conditions. Based on the suggestions received from the company's process manager and end users, ASW is constantly working on improving its products.
