Farmakom Retail Group is part of the holding company of the successful company Farmakom MB. Retail Group was established with the aim to distribute the products of other members of the holding through its own retail network. The company was established at the beginning of 2011, and at the end of the year it had about 25 retail facilities, with plans to open new ones. As the main task of the company, Farmakom Retail Group has set up the construction of an information system with which it can efficiently manage the entire retail network. The information system had to be flexible enough to be able to adapt to different needs and requirements of the company in time.
The project was efficiently realized by the joint work of the ASW team and the IT team of Farmakom. The first phase in the realization of the project was the upgrading of the central ERP system asw: dominus and the release of the first 5 retail facilities. After the realization of the first phase and the verification of the system functions, the second phase was implemented, which included the successive release of retail facilities into operation. In the course of the implementation, Farmakom's IT team is trained to independently install the POS system and train end users or retailers for the retail asw: mercantis. The complete project was implemented within 3 months. The information system has met all the expectations of the management of Farmakom Retail Group, which now fully manages and controls its retail network and has good information support for further development of its business.
