ERP - Comprehensive solution for managing all business processes and resources within a company
The system for technical inspection of vehicles, registration and licensing was implemented in all stations for technical inspection of vehicles in the Republika Srpska and the Brčko District. There are 208 technical inspection stations where the activities prescribed by the Regulation on Technical Inspections of Vehicles of BiH and the Rules on Issuing of the RS license are carried out. The system is integrated with the agency IDDEEA (agency for personal documents), and all the centers for registration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska are linked to it, thus achieving the automation of the vehicle registration process. About 330,000 technical inspections are carried out annually for which data are entered into the system database. In addition to the technical inspection, the system enables complete management of financial and bookkeeping activities.
The technical solution is based on state-of-the-art technology and three-layer architecture of the system. Applicable and server databases are clustered which provides greater system stability and prevents latency in the work of technical inspection stations. Access to the application and data is done via the Internet, using a web browser. All stations for technical inspections of vehicles are connected in a unique VPN (Virtual Private Network) network providing additional security for the entire system. The system is easy to use, which is very rare for such complex systems. The asw: examinus for technical inspection of vehicles fully satisfied the requirements of the users both in the complete simplification of work at the technical inspection stations as well as in the automation of the vehicle registration process as well as the supervision of all activities by authorized users in the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska. The project was implemented within 6 months. The asw: examinus system won the Gold Medal with the Innovation Certificate at the "Idea, Innovation and New Software Fair" 2011 in Nuremberg, Germany.
